Amazing Race Asia premiere last Thursday (Nov 9) and I’m pretty proud that the producers chose Kuala Lumpur as their starting spot.

There is an unexpected scene that makes me blush though.. 2 out of 10 teams are being ripped off by KL taxi drivers, in front of video camera!

Weekend Mail becomes the 4th newspaper to be suspended by Malaysia government in 2006, under the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1987 (PPPA).

The government has earlier suspended Berita Petang, Guang Ming Daily and Sarawak Tribune for publishing offensive issues.

Brendan Pereira will end his term of service as group editor of the New Straits Times (NST) on Dec 31.

The announcement of resignation came at a bad time, just when the blogosphere is looming with accusations that Pereira was plagiarising an article from Mitch Albom.
